The ensemble Des Equilibres returns for just one concert to the place they recorded their last opus. It was in the enchanting surroundings of the Old Convent of the Minimes de Pourrières, completely renovated by Jean de Gaspary, that the musicians immortalized their programme “Des Cordes
Marines” on disk. They meet again to propose this sublime, and technically difficult, programme to the Var audience. Three French composers, Joseph-Ermend Bonnal (1880), Albert Roussel (1869-1937) and Jean Cras (1879-1932), three string trios inspired by the marine adventures and coastal shores that marked the lives of their authors, three unjustly misunderstood works, to which Des Equilibres is delighted to do honor.
